We got to come home yesterday and I must say that there is no place like home! Cakes is doing great and is so much happier in her own element, with her own bed and some resemblance of her normal routine. She ended up staying at the hospital with us on Saturday night, as staying away from us another night just wasn't going to work. The nurses at the hospital were so sweet to her and "didn't notice" that she was spending the night. We are so grateful for that! Cakes is very sweet to her little bro and is tending on the protective side. She doesn't want anyone holding him but me or hubby, and will tell us both to be very gentle! It is really so sweet to see her love him so much already. I'm sure that won't always be the case but here's some photographic evidence of her being happy about his arrival.
