Yesterday we went to Little Man's 1st doctor's office visit. He checked out good, as his doctor likes to say. He is measuring 75th percentile for height and head size, and 50th percentile for weight. He does have a tad bit of jaundice, but it is pretty common in breastfed babies. Since it takes a few days for the breastmilk to come in, the bilirubin doesn't get flushed out as quickly. A little bit of filtered sunlight helps the body rid itself of it as well, so we have to sit him in front of the window to sunbathe several times a day.
Here he is soaking in the rays. I wonder what he's thinking about.
Cakes continues to like her baby brother and asks to hold him periodically. She will pat him as she's walking by and will kiss him on the head if we ask her to. If he's sleeping (which he likes to do a lot of) she will ask me to wake him up so she can see him. She also has been requesting that he dance with her. I can picture it now...Cakes making him play dress up in her princess dresses and forcing him to dance ballerina with her. What a sight to look forward to!

Here's big sister holding her little bro. Notice she has on one of her dress up outfits.
The hubby continues to be my rock and is doing a great job of taking care of us all. He keeps the house clean, makes sure we have plenty to eat, and does a lot of diaper changing. He also spends a lot of time tending to Cakes needs...which sometimes is a full time job in itself. What a great hubby I have and a great father to my sweet babies!

And last but not least, Little Man with one of his Cubs onesies (that I made for him). Hubby posed him like this with his hand down his pants. Showing him the ways of manhood already! Little Man says "Go Cubs, Go!"
That's it for now. I'm sure I'll post more soon! Who needs sleep anyway?!
