A little background...
Stellan was diagnosed with heart failure, suffering from Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT), hydrops and heart block while in utero. At 24 weeks the doctors believed that he would die. He beat the odds and was born healthy! At 4 months he began to suffer from SVT again and was diagnosed with PFO, a hole in his heart. He had a partially successful heart procedure performed at 5 months. In late July of this year (at 9 months old) he was back in the hospital suffering from SVT again and awaiting transport to Boston Children's Hospital for heart surgery. His SVT abated and his surgery was postponed.
Now he is back in the hospital undergoing a very risky ablation of his heart in hopes of ridding him of SVT.
You can read Stellan's amazing story here and leave some words of encouragement.
UPDATE: The ablation was a SUCCESS!!! A HUGE SUCCESS!!! Read the great news here!
