Ecostore USA - A Review...and Giveaway!

It is no secret that I am not a fan of cleaning. In fact, the Hubs does a lot of the cleaning in our home. He cleans, I do the laundry. Periodically, if the Hubs hasn't gotten around to it yet, I will clean. When I do clean, I like to use good products that make cleaning easier. In my experience, that means using harsh chemicals. But not anymore!

I recently got the opportunity to test out some eco-friendlier "No Nasty Chemicals" cleaners from ecostore USA.  Ecostore USA offers products that are not only good for the user, but good for the planet as well. From baby massage oil to pet shampoo, and none of them contain the following "Nasty Chemicals": petrochemicals, enzymes, optical whiteners, synthetic perfumes or dyes, sodium lauryl sulphate, phosphates, chlorine, ammonia, TEA, DEA, MEA, parabens, or propylene glycol.

"Of course ecostore products do contain chemicals - after all even water is a chemical. We just do everything we can to eliminate the nasty ones."

I definitely like the eco side of their products, but are they eco-cheap?  It's usually expensive to buy eco products but they found a way to super-concentrate each formula, which means a little goes a long way. And that means you save money by cutting down on cost per use. So yes, they are eco-cheap! Woo hoo!

I got to test their plant based Cream Cleanser and Toilet Cleaner and I have to say that I am impressed. The best part of both cleaners is that there was no harsh chemical smell. They actually smelled nice and I wasn't petrified of the kids inhaling the fumes, or getting toxic chemicals on them.

The Cream Cleanser smelled like lemons and worked great on everything from the bathroom sink to the glass stove top. It was not gritty at all and wiped away easily. It comes in a 12.7 ounce bottle and sells for $7.50. Remember, a little goes a long way!

The Toilet Cleaner smelled citrusy and worked fantastic! I liked that it has the curved top that allows you to squirt the cleaner up under the rim. The cleaner was nice and thick, so it really clung to the sides and allowed the cleaner to do it's job. It comes in a 17 ounce bottle and sells for $8. This is some super-concentrated stuff!
