Bummas Cloth Wipes - A Review and Giveaway!

Next up in the Fluff the Bum Event is a cloth diapering essential - cloth wipes. When I first started cloth diapering I used disposable wipes. The problem with using disposable wipes when you  cloth diaper is that once you are done with it you can't just throw it in with the diapers. I did not have a trash bin in the baby's room so I'd end up carrying it into the kitchen to throw it away. That got old really quick, especially when the Hubs would just leave them on the changing table for me to deal with. I guess I shouldn't complain, at least the Hubby actually changes diapers! And I know, I could have put a trash bin in his room, but I didn't. I just switched to cloth wipes. I mean I use cloth diapers, I should use cloth wipes too! They are much cheaper as you don't have to keep buying them over and over, and so easy to deal with, just toss them in with the dirty diapers.

Bummas is one of the most popular brands of cloth wipes. They were created as a solution for drying their son's "stuff" after cleaning him up. They always felt that his bum was too wet to put the diaper on and were tired of "blowing down there until you're blue in the face".

Well, they came up with a great product! The 100% cotton woven velour terry wipes are very soft and absorbent.  I can wet half the wipe with my homemade wipe solution, clean the "stuff" and bum, then dry with the other half. At 5" x 7" they are a perfect size able to handle the complete job. Once used, just toss it in with the soiled diaper. They are durable, so you can wash them with your cloth diapers without any worry. They won't pill, shrink, or fade, and should last until you are done with diapers, and probably much longer!
