Well, hardly a day of rest, but no giveaway in the Fluff the Bum Cloth Diaper Event today. We are ready for a full day of family and fun to celebrate Easter. Lunch with GG (great grandma - the Hubby's grandma) and then egg hunt at my parents. Good times!
This Easter has a special significance to me. On January 1st, I began the Bible in 90 Days Challenge. This was quite an undertaking, as I had never really even read the Bible, nonetheless the entire Bible from front to back. I am very happy that I met the challenge, and did it in 88 days! Easter really means something to me now. Our Lord has risen!

We colored eggs a very cool and green way this year. We did Silk Tie Easter Eggs. Basically, we wrapped silk from ties I bought at the thrift store around eggs and boiled them for 20 minutes. The dye (and pattern)from the ties transfer to the eggs! I was amazed at the results! I spent only $8 on ties and didn't even use them all. The neatest part is I can reuse the ties again next year. Thanks Martha! You always have great ideas! What special traditions do you have for Easter?
Whether you are Christian, Jewish, Atheist, or whatever your belief, I hope you have a wonderful day!
