Rumparooz G2 One Size Pocket Diaper - A Review and Giveaway!

Next up in the Fluff the Bum Event is a diaper that I have heard a lot about and was dying to try!

The Rumparooz G2 One Size Pocket Diaper is a one size adjustable rise diaper that fits from 6-35+ pounds. With 4 rise settings, this diaper will definitely fit from birth to potty training! The newborn setting starts fitting at 6 pounds! I think that's the smallest setting available in a one size diaper.

The Rumparooz comes in either velcro, or snap closure. Velcro is always a very daddy friendly option, whereas snaps keep your little one from removing the diaper and running around naked! Been there done that! Although, since the G2's now feature actual Velcro brand hook material (which provides a very strong hold) instead of aplix, your baby may not be able to undo it.

The outer is made with a soft waterproof PUL and comes in 13 colors and 7 prints. The inner of this diaper is what sets it apart from all other cloth diapers on the market. Made with microchamois, the inside is designed with 2 internal gussets that channel each leg. What that means is that there is no chance for messes to escape. Really a genius design!

The Rumparooz G2 comes with a unique insert. The 6r soaker is actually 2 inserts, a one size adjustable insert that adjust to large or medium/small, and a newborn insert which is shorter, trimmer, and contoured to reduce bulk between your newborns legs. The newborn insert will also snap to the one size insert in 3 different positions (including one for girls and one position for boys) allowing for 6 size/absorbency settings. This insert is available in microfiber or hemp.

I like this diaper a lot! It fits my Bubby great and it is very trim, which kind of surprised me since it has the internal gussets. The microfiber soaker was very trim and absorbent and handled heavy soaking. I could put this diaper on and feel confident that there would be no leaks...even if I left it on a bit too long! This is a very, very nice diaper and I can understand all the fuss about it! It lives up to all the hype. It is a quality product that I can believe will last from birth to potty training with no problem.

Okay, not the safest place for the Bubby to pose, but the Hubs was right there to catch him, and doesn't he look so cute?!

The Rumparooz G2's are priced at $23.50 for solid colors and $25.50 for prints. A stash of 24 that would last from birth to potty training would cost you $564 to $612. (Disposables on average cost $800 per year) That's a great price for such a quality diaper!
