Swimmis Swim Diaper by Bummis - A Review and Giveaway!

Next up in the Fluff the Bum Event is a swim diaper by Bummis Cloth Diapering. You don't use disposable diapers so why should you use disposable swim diapers? You shouldn't!

The Swimmi Swim Diaper is the answer. It offers a trim fit that will hold in any mess (that your baby hopefully WON'T have). Inside is a coated nylon layer with a polyester mesh. The outside is a cotton print, available in 5 different prints. It comes in 3 sizes and with the adjustable hook and look closure and the stretchy soft lycra bindings, you are sure to get a perfect and comfortable fit. This swim diaper is as cute as it is functional!

Just a little FYI, the purpose of a swim diaper is to keep in any solid messes, not urine. There is no absorbent insert, so don't put this on until you are ready to get in the water!

We were excited to give the Swimmi a try as this is the first true swim diaper we've had. The weather has been nice and warm so we took the boat out for the first time this year and the Bubby got to wear his Swimmi. We received the size large to try and it fits fine, with lots of room to spare but he medium would have been a better fit. Since he's on the top end of the medium and bottom end of large, we went with the one that would last all summer, and all summer is should last! It is made well, and seems very durable. That's a good thing, because we'll put it to use a lot this summer!

I'm glad to finally have a real swim diaper. I think the mesh inside will do a great job of containing any messes, whereas the pocket diapers/diaper covers that I have been using probably wouldn't do as well. Every cloth diapering family needs to add a Swimmi to their stash!

The Swimmi swim diapers are priced at very reasonable $11.00 each.  One Swimmi would last until your little one outgrows it. A package of disposable swim diapers would cost $8.99 for 10-12 diapers.
