Easy Black Bean Hummus

It's a little ironic that I am posting a recipe. I am no domestic diva, by any stretch of the imagination (although I think I look like one in my super cute new apron). But heck, I can make a super yummy, super simple hummus! This recipe is my own, adapted from several recipes that I have found online. Note that this hummus contains no tahini, so I guess technically it's not hummus, but whatever. Everyone that has tried it thinks it is the bomb! :)

Easy Black Bean Hummus

1 can Chick Peas (garbanzo beans) drained
1 can Black Beans drained
Large clove or 2 of Garlic - minced
1/2 Lemon
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Cumin
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne pepper

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Add water until desired consistency is achieved. Chill and serve with pita bread, pita chips, vegetables, or whatever you feel like dipping in it. Also great in wraps or sandwiches!

ENJOY!
