The Unknown Hazard of Low Rise Pants

So, everyone knows the obvious hazards of low rise pants. The dreaded muffin top, the undeniable plumber's crack while bending over, the embarrassing reveal of underwear (or panties if you prefer), but today I discovered a less know risk.

While weeding my flowerbeds this evening I became a victim of some very thirsty mosquitoes that decided my lower back/top of my bum was the perfect buffet line!

Five bites in a row. And yes, that's one at the top of my plumber's crack!

I diligently applied plenty of bug spray before going outside, but I quite obviously did not apply any on my backside. Lesson learned.

Oh, that's going to drive you nuts for a few days! How annoying!

Another one I learned is the sunburn half moon. Same place, you always forget to apply sunblock to that spot where your pants are low at the back and your shirt creeps up while you are bending over to garden!

That's hilarious, the sunburn half moon! Thanks for letting me in on that one. I'm sure I'd eventually fall victim to it!

Ouch! Good thing I look ridiculous in low-rise (I fit into many of those danger categories you mentioned) so I won't need to worry about this. lol

Having just weeded our garden I can honestly say I feel your pain...only I was wearing "mom shorts" so the mosquitoes and chiggers had to contend with my knees and thighs.

Mosquitoes love me too! The only thing that saves me is Badger Anti-Bug Balm! I love it, it's organic, lasts forever (almost), and smells really good!

Ouch! I get all itchy just seeing them!

OUCH! I am NOT a fan of low rise pants for me... I always feel like they're sliding off.
