Good times with John Mayer

In two days I will be at the John Mayer concert in Atlanta! I am more excited than a grown woman should be for a concert, but heck, I'm not ashamed to admit it! He is, by far, my favorite artist and I will be standing in row 7, dead center!

I've already seen him once this year, in Charlotte, on our way to the beach. The four of us went and my niece, too. We had a blast! Train was the opening act and my niece and daughter actually got high fives from the lead singer. I've never seen my niece so excited!

Mr. Mayer was, of course, incredible! He is amazing live and put on a heck of a show. And then, as we were making our way to the exit (not to leave, just to get closer to the exit), John walked right by us on his way to perform the encore! I could have reached out and touched him! And what did I do? I screamed like a little school girl! There I was holding my 4 year old daughter's hand,with my 22 month old son on my back, and my 12 year old niece and my husband standing next to me, and I screech "JOHN!" That's all I could do. I'm such a dork!

We had a wonderful time!

But I'd be lying if I said I'm not freaking out excited to go without the kids and hubby. I love them dearly, but for once, mama is having some girl time! I'm going with my cousin and her friend, and meeting up with a new friend who I met online. Woo hoo! I. Can't. Wait!
