Of course you can. Yes, sweetie. Yes. Uh huh. Sure. WHAT???
I hate to say it, but after the nth time she asks, it's pretty annoying! This is said in the most loving, I spend just about every minute of my day with my kids, kind of way. Those five extra words before the infinite amount of words she speaks every single day just seem so unnecessary. What's up with that? It's not like she ever lacks for things to say.
But it's hard to be annoyed for very long though! Especially when she smiles at you like that and she says something hilarious, which is all the time!
Do any of your children do this?

Ems says "I have my questions" but then there really are no questions. She says this to everyone and they always respond and ask what her question is and then she clams up. Funny and cute, but I have to agree that it can get annoying. ;)
I may or may not say 'Can I ask you something' all.the.time.
Kim, that's funny! And thanks for making me not feel so bad for getting annoyed! :)
Jen, is there a reason you say it, like because you are being polite, or is it just out of habit? Perhaps you can give me some insight on why my Cakes says it. :)
